Wayne comes from a varied background starting with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Human kinetics with a minor in Psychology from the University of Windsor, Canada. He has worked in many allied health professions in Ontario, Personal Trainer and Physical Therapy Technician with 15 years of experience. After leaving Canada, Wayne starting in the Detroit area working for Henry Ford Hospital as a Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab Specialist. After 15 years in the Detroit area Wayne now calls Chicago home for the last 26 years. During that time, Wayne has earned his diploma from Chicago school massage therapy (CSMT) in 2000 and started on staff a year later working as a full time Instructor for their massage therapy and continuing education programs till 2016.

He has been a licensed massage therapist for last 21 years and has earned his certificate as a Reiki Master and Holistic Life Coach. Wayne continues to work in private practice and as Massage Therapist for a local chiropractic clinic. He is excited to be teaching again in his specialty of sports massage and holistic health here at Zen shiatsu.
