Ethics: Giving and Receiving Feedback Course Description:

Taught by Kyren Epperson

3 CEs / $75

Do you struggle to give or receive feedback with colleagues, clients, and others in your life?

Practice moving from fight or flight into rest and connection with others through this interactive class!

You will explore ways to offer feedback to others in a compassionate and empowering way *and* find ways to feel more centered and present while receiving difficult feedback from others. Through role plays, you will practice offering difficult feedback to clients and co-workers in a compassionate and empathetic way.

You will practice ways to prepare your nervous system to help you manage emotions and remain present and receptive to difficult feedback from others. You’ll also practice advocating for yourself, such as asking to schedule a meeting to receive feedback when you’re feeling too overwhelmed to be present.

Additionally we’ll explore trauma-informed ways to offer support to survivors of violence in our bodywork practice in ways that empower agency, foster resilience, and facilitate healing.
