Zen Shiatsu Chicago is an eligible institution for the use of GI Bill educational benefits. Eligible veterans or their children may be qualified for 100% tuition coverage.

BAH/MHA Housing Benefits are also available for enrollment plans of 12 hours per week or greater.

All practitioners of massage or Asian Bodywork must hold a massage license for professional practice.

Graduates of Zen Shiatsu Chicago qualify for:

an Illinois Massage license
AND Certified Practitioner status in shiatsu with the AOBTA (American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia)

Our graduates have maintained a 100% pass rate on the national massage and bodywork licensing exam (MBLEx) for 14 years.

Chinese Medicine – 103 hours
Anatomy & Physiology – 104 hours
Student Clinic – 84 hours
Business, Ethics and Electives – 70 hours
Massage Basics – 30 hours
Musculoskeletal Pathology and Shiatsu – 30 hours
Systems Pathology for Shiatsu Therapists – 30 hours

Transfer credit may reduce the program length to 380 hours or less. Professional bodyworkers such as massage or physical therapists should submit their transcripts for review.
