Massage School Tuition Benefits - IDES Disability Educational Benefits

Any student who has a diagnosed issue that impedes their ability to be employed may be eligible for 100% tuition coverage through the Illinois Department of Employment Security.

This option can be available even if you do not receive federal disability benefits.

Please note, the physical and cognitive requirements of performing Zen Shiatsu therapy are the ability to:

1. Stand or crawl for 60 minute intervals
2. Support one’s own upper-body weight in a leaning position
3. Lift and support the weight of another person’s arm or leg
4. Conduct a verbal intake interview, remember and employ contraindications and indications, analyze health patterns.
5. Remember and execute a treatment plan for the duration of a 60-minute appointment
