Transferring Massage License to Illinois, Need 100 Hours?

Zen Shiatsu Chicago Can Help!

At Zen Shiatsu Chicago, we frequently help with onboarding out-of-state massage license applicants.

Many out-of-state massage therapists come in with 500 hours from their home state, and need to meet Illinois’ 600-hour requirement. You may have been told by IDFPR that you need to attend 100 hours at a qualified massage school in order to transfer your license. If so, our school has the answer!

You can take 100-hours of our licensure-track Shiatsu Massage Therapy Diploma Program to meet this requirement. In this way, you’ll be learning exciting new approaches to expand your services, while completing the mandatory hours.

Here are the highlights of the process of transferring your massage license to IL:

  • Take 100 hours of Shiatsu and Chinese Medical Theory coursework
  • This can generally be completed in a three-month timespan
  • The 100 hours go towards the 380 hours needed to achieve full shiatsu certification
  • The tuition you pay will also be deducted in the event you choose to finish the certificate program
  • TOTAL HOURS: 105

Class Modules: Beginning Zen Shiatsu, Zen Shiatsu II, Zen Shiatsu III, Chinese Medicine Fundamentals
Total Tuition & Materials: $2336
